President and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mrs. James Roosevelt, the President’s mother, Governor and Mrs. Herbert H. Lehman, and Mayor and Mrs. Fiorello H. LaGuardia head the list of patrons for the dance of the young men’s and women’s division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies at the Waldorf-Astoria on Saturday evening, April 6. Proceeds from the dance will be donated to the Federation.
Adolph Proskauer was a major in the Confederate Army and served one term in the Alabama Legislature.
