Judge William L. Lewis of Philadelphia and Rabbi Wolf Gold, national president of the Mizrachi Organization of America, were the principal speakers.
Rabbi Ashinsky founded the Pittsburgh Jewish Home for the Aged, created the Hebrew Free Loan Association and the Hebrew Free Burial Society.
