Figures indicating how the numbers of the Jewish population in Frankfurtam-Main have been affected during the year 1934, are published in the Gemeindeblatt, the official organ of the Frankfurt Jewish community.

The year recorded a falling birth rate and an increase in the death rate, suicide and emigration. The total number of Jews who left Frankfurt during the year is given as 3,479.

Intermarriage continues, despite the Nazi propaganda against mixed marriages. There were twenty-two marriages in the Jewish community of Frankfurt in 1934, and sixty-one in 1933, the Gemeindeblatt states.

The number of Jews who left the Jewish community in 1934 is given as 153, as compared to the 175 Jews who left the community in 1933. Fourteen Jews committed suicide during the year.
