Herman Neaderland was reelected president of the Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst for the twentieth successive term at the annual meeting. Other officers elected were: vice-presidents, Morris C. Klein, Nat A. Barell, Abraham Gash; treasurer, Joseph Kappel; secretary, Jacob Statman.

The Icor Association for Jewish Colonization in the Soviet Union will celebrate the first anniversary on May 18 of the Jewish autonomous region in Biro-Bidjan with a concert at Town Hall.

More than 2,000 Jewish children will take part in the annual Lag B’Omer field day celebration on Sunday morning, May 19, at the Hempstead Lake State Park, it was announced yesterday by Rabbi Ario S. Hyams, of Bayside, and Max Jerome, of Forest Hills, co-chairmen of the educational committee of the Long Island branch of The United Synagogue of America.

Ferdinand Bruckner’s “Races,” the play concerning the Jewish problem in Nazi Germany, will close the season for the Forum Theatre at the Heckscher Theatre, 1 East 104th street. The play will open tomorrow evening and will continue indefinitely.

Administrative committee of the Order Sons of Zion at its last meeting unanimously decided to recommend to the executive committee that the platform adopted by the Zionist Organization of America for the coming World Zionist Congress be approved by the Order. The decision carried the reservation that the delegates of the Order to the Zionist Congress shall not be bound by any conference or caucus action.

Representatives of Jewish women’s organizations in Brooklyn will meet at a rally and tea this afternoon at the Unity Club, Bedford avenue and Dean street, on behalf of the women’s division of the Greater New York campaign of the United Jewish Appeal.

Mrs. Arthur Brin, president of the National Council of Jewish Women, has joined the Memorial Day Committee for wider observance of the occasion.

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin J. Kline will open. this year’s bazaar of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, Saturday, it was announced by Mrs. Philip Brenner, chairman.
