Banoth Ivriah, the junior auxiliary of Ivriah, the women’s division of the Jewish Education Association, will celebrate its first anniversary tomorrow with a luncheon in the Italian Gardens of the Hotel Ambassador. Mrs. George Markelson is chairman of the committee on arrangeemnts.

Under the auspices of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations the third and last Conference of Metropolitan Religious School Teachers was held yesterday afternoon at Union Temple, 17 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn. Rabbi Benjamin Schultz of Temple Ahavath Sholom, Brooklyn, gave the principal address.

The Jewish Institute of Religion will hold its tenth annual commencement exercises on Sunday morning, June 2, in the auditorium of the Institute building, West 68th Street near Central Park, it was announced yesterday.

The first annual “Give or Earn” drive to raise funds for its Palestinian activities of the Long Island Junior Hadassah was climaxed with a tea yesterday at the Park Lane Hotel, New York, with the mothers of the members as guests of honor.

A rally and tea in the interest of the women’s division of the Greater New York campaign of the United Jewish Appeal will be held at the home of Adolph Lewisohn, 881 Fifth Avenue, today. Mrs. Richard Perc Limburg, chairman, will preside and the speakers will include Prof. Norman Bentwich, Mrs. Felix M. Warburg and Mrs. David E. Goldfarb, chairman of Council of Women’s Organizations of the campaign.
