The Mandates Commission of the League of Nations will open its session here June 3, it was officially announced today.
A number of Arab petitions have been received by the Commission. It is, however, doubtful whether they will be considered at the forthcoming session.
Dr. A. C. Loosli, expert for the Berne court in the trial of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” publishes today an appeal in the Swiss press warning against the Nazi menace.
“We are standing on the brink of an abyss which threatens to swallow the highest hopes of humanity”, the appeal says. “The highest possessions of humanity are in danger. Save yourselves while there is still time. Don’t let truth, goodwill, beauty and justice be vanquished.”
