The honorary degree of Doctor of Hebrew letters was conferred upon Norman Bentwich last night at Founders Day exercises at Dropsie College. Dr. Cyrus Adler, president, officiated at the ceremony.
Dr. Solomon Solis-Cohen received the fifth annual award by the Knesseth Israel Alumni Association in recognition of his achievements in the fields of science, medicine, education, civic interest and cultural accomplishments.
Five graduates of the school were given the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
