The man who is the hero of jubiliant opponents of NRA throughout the country, was himself sunk in gloom yesterday.

Joseph Schechter, head of the Schechter Live Poultry Corporation, had computed and computed and finally realized that it had cost him $100,000 to overthrow the NRA codes in the Supreme Court.

“I would have preferred the jail sentence,” he said, “if I would have known that legal fees were going to cost that much.”
