A number of Jews of England, Canada, Palestine and Rhodesia are included in the list of recipients of honors to be bestowed on the occasion of the King’s birthday tomorrow.
Among those to be honored are Hore Belisha, British Cabinet member, Mrs. Tillie Jacobson of Routh Rhodesia, Elijah Silverstone of Canada, Mrs. Nellie Soman of London, and Abraham Goldwater of Palestine. They will be made officers of the Order of the British Empire
Honorary membership in the Order will be bestowed upon Mrs. Shoshana Persitz, head of the education department in Tel Aviv, and Isaac Elazari-Volcani of Palestine.
