The boycott committee of the American Jewish Congress announced yesterday that it would send delegates to the United Anti-Nazi Conference to be held June 29 at the New School for Social Research, 66 West Twelfth Street.
The conference is being sponsored by James Waterman Wise, Waldo Frank, Prof. Frederick L. Schuman, The National Committee to Aid Victims of German Fascism, the Anti-Nazi Federation, and other individuals and organizations. It has been called “to stay Nazi war plans, back the German people in their struggle against Hitler Fascism, stop the new wave of Nazi terror, help the German people win the right to religious freedom, free trade unions, and to establish civil liberties and safeguard all human rights.”
Other Jewish organizations which have sent in credentials include the Upper Bronx Chapter of Avukah, and the Jewish Opinion Society of CCNY.
