Herman Passamaneck, executive director of the Y.M. & Y.W.H.A., has returned from an extensive tour of the South and West where he helped establish a number of Jewish centers. During his tour, conducted under the auspices of the Jewish Welfare Board, Mr. Passamaneck traveled through forty-seven cities and interviewed several hundred prominent Jews.
Rabbi A. M. Ashinsky is being honored at a number of farewell receptions to be continued until July 5 when he will leave for an extensive trip to Palestine. From there he will travel to Europe to be on hand at the World Zionist Congress.
