The trial of six White Russians who are accused of kidnaping and murdering the son of the local French-Jewish diamond dealer, Simon Kasper, has been postponed after the proceedings had been in progress for two days.
The accused refused to enter a plea on their own behalf and are endeavoring to give the trial a political character.
The accused murderers are attempting to give as a justification for the murder of the Jewish boy the alibi that they committed the crime out of patriotism for their Russian homeland. They allege that they wanted to avenge Russia for the misrule to which it has been subjected by the Jews who stand high in Soviet circles.
