Disturbances marked the Zionist Congress elections in several places in Eastern Galicia, according to reports reaching here today. Numerous ballot boxes were demolished in several districts.

The elections, which took place Sunday, gave the General Zionist Union, which is opposed to the present Zionist Executive, 31,261 votes in the 120 districts which have thus far reported.

The General Zionist Confederation, which is headed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, received 3,193 votes, the Laborites polled 30,890, Mizrachi 10,725 and the Jewish State Party 4,539.

In Lemberg the results were: General Zionist Union, 4,671; General Zionist Confederation, 1,464; Laborites, 3,220; Mizrachi, 1,185, and the Jewish State Party, 877.
