The drive to force Jews to yield their real estate property to “Aryans” is assuming an organized character, reports received here today from various parts of the country reveal.
Coming from the most reliable sources, these reports relate that in many cities Jews owning realty have suddenly, as though by a special order, received notice from the banks that their mortgages become due immediately and must be paid forthwith. Refused credit by the banks, many Jews are unable to comply with this demand, and their properties are put up for auction. In most cases it has already been prearranged that the highest bidders shall be “Aryans” in order to make sure that the properties will pass into “Aryan” hands.
This system has recently assumed such a widespread character that many Jewish owners of buildings and land are practically compelled to auction off their property to Germans for nothing.
In connection with this drive it was revealed in leading Nazi circles this morning that there is a plan afoot to create a “liquidation bank” to take over Jewish-owned properties.
The purpose of this bank will be, it is declared, “to help Jews once and forever to leave Germany.” It will also ensure that Jewish property shall pass into “Aryan” hands at prices that the “liquidation bank” finds fit to pay.
