The Grand Mufti and Former Mayor Nashashibi of Jerusalem are utilizing the incident in which alleged shipments of munitions to a Tel Aviv importer were discovered, for incitement against the Jews.

The Arab leaders have prepared a protest to the High Commissioner and a manifesto to Arabs throughout the world pointing out the danger of an armed Jewry.

Meanwhile, government police searching Arab villages near Tulkarm today arrested thirty Arabs after finding fifteen guns which had disappeared from the police arsenal.

Rumors of arms shipments to Jews arose when one of the barrels in a shipment of cement to an importer named Kattan in Tel Aviv broke open while being unloaded at Jaffa, revealing a tin case of cartridges.

The conviction in Newish circles is that Kattan had not ordered the arms.
