The Versliniki, national organization with the avowed aim of driving Jews from the economic life of Lithuania, at its annual congress in Ponieviej today adopted a resolution calling upon the Government to exclude Jews from trade, industry and artisan pursuits. The resolution demanded that “the Lithuania people be delivered from the hands of aliens.”
The congress was featured by the delivery of anti-Semitic speeches, one of them by the mayor of Ponieviej.
