Apparently as the result of unforeseen difficulties which the Nuremberg anti-Jewish laws are creating for high Government officials, Reich Minister of the Interior Wilhelm Frick today decreed that certain “non-Aryans” may apply directly to Reich Chancellor Hitler for exemption from the laws. The decree specifies that permission for such appeal is to be granted “in extraordinary cases where there are solid reasons to justify such exemptions in the interests of the totalitarian State.”
