The Danzig Senate has instructed police to intervene when Jews protest against the singing of anti-Semitic songs on the streets. The instructions stated police are not required to take action except where Jews lodge protests in specific cases.
The order was issued in response to pretests against Nazi groups walking through the streets singing the Horst Wessel marching song.
