Exile from Reich Wins Medical Body’s Medal

The American Medical Association, in convention here, last night awarded a gold medal to Dr. Rudolph Schindler, an exile from Germany, for his refinement of the gastroscope, which was adjudged one of the two outstanding exhibits at the meeting. He left Munich 18 months ago because “freedom of speech and research was gone” and now lives in Chicago.
