Nahum Goldmann, member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, last night hailed the action of the Palestine Government in issuing a new schedule of immigration in the face of an Arab general strike to halt Jewish immigration.

He declared at a protest meeting here on recent Palestine disorders, that ultimate reconciliation between the Arabs and Jews was necessary and feasible, adding that the Arabs would accept the idea of a Jewish Palestine on both sides of the Jordan when they realized it was inevitable.

Tribute was paid to Dr. Nahum Sokolow, Zionist leader who died in London Sunday. Among the speakers eulogizing him was I. Naiditch, Zionist leader. Other speakers were Zalmon Schneur, Hebrew writer, and Jacob Latzki-Bertholdi, journalist.
