Haint, local Yiddish daily, was confiscated today by Polish authorities for an editorial commenting on the organized raid by 150 peasants on the village of Wiszonki Wibichi, 60 miles from Warsaw, last Friday in which Jewish homes and places of business were demolished.
The editorial was entitled, “Second Myslenice,” a reference to a similar episode last June when uniformed Nationalists seized the town of Myslenice in Western Galicia, and, after disarming police and destroying communications, proceeded to carry on systematic depredations against Jewish residents.
