The Daily Telegraph reports that 10,000 troops of the First Division will sail for Palestine Friday. No confirmation of the report was available at the War Office.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the reinforcements will include twelve infantry battalions, four field companies of Royal Engineers, three companies of the Signal Corps and three companies of the Service Corps.
It is understood the Seaforth, Cameron and Loyal battalions now in Palestine will be relieved by additional battalions from England.
