More than 10,000 Polish Jews emigrated to Palestine in the first nine months of 1936, it was disclosed here last night at a plenary meeting of the Palestine Immigration Bureau. The total emigration for the year will not exceed 12,000, it was estimated

The Jewish population of Palestine has increased from 365,000 to 415,000 during the year, it was announced by A. Dobkin, director of immigration of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. He revealed that only 228 persons had re-emigrated in that period and that 121 illegal entrants had been deported.
