The newspaper A.B.C. today launched a sharp attack against Jews in connection with the devaluation of the franc, asserting that “the world’s finances are in the hands of Jews.”
Alleging that the world powers had to wait for Yom Kippur to carry out important financial measures, the paper charges the devaluation was a plot to end the gold standard engineered by “the Jew Morgenthau in the name of the United States, the Jew Blum for France and the ‘Aryan’ Churchill (one-time British Chancellor of the Exchequer) for the Anglo-Jewish capitalists.”
