Zionist Flag Display on Nazi Holidays Barred

The authorities today prohibited display on German national holidays of the blue-white Zionist flag, despite a provision in the Nuremberg laws of 1935 that the emblem could be flown in place of the swastika, display of which is forbidden to Jews.

The order states there is no objection to display of the Zionist flag on Jewish holidays.
