The Havas News Agency reported today that the Nazi Party had swept all workers’ organizations in the Free City out of existence, dissolving the Social Democratic Party and abolishing trade unions.

It was officially announced that the dissolution order was issued because arms were found in the offices of the Volkstimme, Socialist organ.

Danzig Nazis were believed preparing a law similar to that in effect in the Reich whereby all persons hostile to the government would lose their rights as citizens.
