The British Consulate here informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that it has not been issuing tourist visas for Palestine since the middle of October and would continue not to do so until order has been completely restored in the Holy Land.

Business men are not affected by the prohibition, it was said at the consulate. The ban is being observed by British consulates the world over, according to an official of the consulate.
