Newspapers today featured details of a colonization pact between Poland and the African republic of Liberia by which Poland is given the right to colonize its nationals in a large area set aside for that purpose.
The pact also permits duty-free entry of Polish goods and extends special privileges to Polish merchants and plantation owners. A Polish consulate will be established at Monrovia, capital of Liberia.
Reports of the agreement make no reference to proposed mass emigration of Poland’s alleged surplus Jewish population.
