A decrease in crime in Palestine and a lessening of the feeling of insecurity in the past ten days was reported to the House of Commons yesterday by Commander A. R. J. Southby, Conservative.

Replying to questions on behalf of William G.A. Ormsby-Gore, Colonial Secretary, he said the Palestine Government had taken special measures to prevent repetition of last year’s disorders by providing for further assistance of the military to the civil authorities.
