The Mizrachi religious Zionists and the Palestine section of the Group “B” General Zionists joined today in denouncing the Royal Commission’s reputed plan to partition the Holy Land as an attack on Jewish rights and a violation of the League of Nations mandate.

“We did not concede the unnatural separation of Transjordan and we will not concede an inch of the Historic boundaries of the Land of Israel,” Mizrachi stated to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “National religious Jewry will tirelessly fight such schemes, and we are certain the Jewish community and the Zionist movement will oppose them and the Jewish Agency for Palestine will stand guard in this decisive hour.”

The General Zionists termed the partition plans the severest attack on Jewish historical rights and said it would undermine the mandate.
