A book entitled “Razzismo” (Racism) by the Italian writer Professor Cogni was placed on the Index today as “contrary to Catholic scientific and moral conceptions.”
Vatican authorities said that under cover of an “objective” study of race theories, the book actually exalts the extreme racial ideas enunciated by Alfred Rosenberg, the Nazi ideologist, and other German leaders.
