FOR BOMBING THE PLANT OF THE POLISH-LANGUAGE JEWISH NEWSPAPER NASZ PRZEGLAD, A WARSAW UNIVERSITY MEDICAL STUDENT, TADEUSZ BIERNACKI, WAS SENTENCED TODAY TO A YEAR IN PRISON. HE WAS RELEASED IN 500 ZLOTYS BAIL (ABOUT $100) PENDING APPEAL.
BIERNACKI WAS CAUGHT RUNNING FROM THE NEWSPAPER BUILDING ON THE NIGHT OF APRIL 30 WITH A REVOLVER IN HIS POSSESSION, AFTER THREE BOMBS HAD BEEN THROWN ON THE PREMISES.
