A REQUEST IS LIKELY TO BE MADE THAT THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS ASSEMBLY, AS WELL AS THE COUNCIL, DISCUSS THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S PROPOSED THREE-WAY PARTITION OF PALESTINE, IT IS UNDERSTOOD HERE.

SIR JOHN SHUCKBURGH, DEPUTY PERMANENT UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES, IS GOING TO GENEVA TO ATTEND THE COUNCIL’S DISCUSSION OF THE MANDATES COMMISSION REPORT ON PALESTINE.
