FIFTY SERIES OF STAMPS BEARING PORTRAITS OF FAMOUS JEWS WHO HAVE HELPED MANKIND WILL BE ISSUED BY THE WORLD ORGANIZATION TO COMBAT RACE HATRED, A CHRISTIAN BODY, FOR WORLD-WIDE DISTRIBUTION, IT WAS ANNOUNCED HERE TODAY.

THE STAMPS, ACCORDING TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT, ARE THE ORGANIZATION’S ANSWER TO THE ANTI-JEWISH LIBELS BEING FEATURED BY THE NAZI EXHIBITION AT MUNICH, “THE ETERNAL JEW.” THEY WILL CARRY INSCRIPTIONS IN FRENCH, ENGLISH AND GERMAN, EXPLAINING THE SUBJECT’S CONTRIBUTION TO THE WELFARE OF HUMANITY.

THE FIRST OF THE SERIES, ISSUED YESTERDAY, BEARS THE PORTRAIT OF DR. PAUL EHRLICH, GERMAN-JEWISH DISCOVERER OF A SPECIFIC FOR SYPHILIS. IT CARRIES THE INSCRIPTION: “REPLY TOMUNICH EXHIBITION, ‘THE ETERNAL JEW.’ PAUL EHRLICH, WINNER OF THE NOBEL PRIZE, GERMAN JEW, SAVED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE BY HIS DISCOVERIES TO FIGHT DISEASES.”
