JUSTICE IRVING LEHMAN, ADDRESSING A CONSTITUTION COMMEMORATION MEETING OF THE NEW YORK SOCIETY OF THE JEWISH THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, SAID TONIGHT HE FEARED NO MOVEMENT FOR DICTATORSHIP AND GROWTH OF ANTI-SEMITISM IN THIS COUNTRY, BECAUSE OF THE INFLUENCE OF RELIGION, WHICH HE HELD TO BE IN “IRRECONCILABLE CONFLICT” WITH THE TOTALITARIAN STATE.
