Arabs today bombed and fired upon a truck on the Jerusalem-Jaffa road near Givat Shaul and wounded two Jews in the fifth daylight attack in the vicinity in two days. Nissim Duranye and Moshe Ben-Shimon Lulu were seriously injured. Two Jews were wounded in an attack on a bus near there yesterday.

Three Arabs were hanged at Acre prison. Munjak Amhdan had been convicted by a military court of firing upon troops, and the other two had been condemned by a civil court for the murder of a Jew, Mendel Mintz, last February.

Twenty Jewish children and eight women were arrested today near the Syrian border as illegal immigrants. One of the children died in a police station.

Curfew was imposed on a large area between the lakes of Huleh and Tiberias, except for the town of Safed, and the road between Kalkillia and Tulkarem was closed to night traffic.
