Rumania Will Not Tolerate Interference with Anti-semitic Program, Goga Declares

A sharp warning that Rumania will not tolerate any interference, “wherever it comes from,” in its domestic affairs was voiced here today by Premier Octavian Goga in regard to his Government’s anti-Semitic program.

Goga declared that Foreign Minister Istrate Micescu had scored an “authentic triumph” before the League of Nations Council. He said Micescu had won a clear cut victory for “the Rumanian thesis on the question of Jews who have fraudulently become Rumanian citizens.”
