London Rally Urges Spur to British Action on Polish, Rumanian Jews

A Jewish mass meeting last night called on the labor, trade union, cooperative and other progressive movements to impress on the British Government its duty of protecting the Jewish minority in Rumania and Poland and upholding minorities treaties.

The meeting, called to protest persecution of Jews in Rumania and Poland, was sponsored by the Workers Circle and supported by Jewish labor and cultural organizations. Speakers included H. Helvin, chairman of the Trades Union Council; Aneurin Bevan and Campbell Stephen, members of Parliament, and others.
