Dr. Hans Reichenbach, German Jewish professor at Istanbul University, received a hearty farewell from students and instructors of all Turkish Universities as he left for the United States today to take a life-long professorship in the Michigan University Department of Philosophy. After holding the chair of philosophy here for three years, he declined the Turkish government’s offer to continue in the position for another three years.
