The All-India Moslem League held a conference here to discuss the Palestine situation and decided to observe a special Palestine Day on August 26 during which protest meetings against the British government’s police in Palestine are to be held. The League also decided to send delegations to London and Palestine. It appointed a sub-committee to consider what action to take to help the Palestine Arabs in their struggle against the British Government and the Jews.

It is understood that proposals were put forward for an immediate Boycott of British goods and the surrendering of titles by the titled members of the Indian Moslem community. The proposal, however, did not find favor with the majority. All the speakers strongly condemned the policy pursued by the British government in Palestine.
