The first official Turkish declaration of sympathy with Jewish colonization in Palestine, a land before the war part of the Turkish Empire, was given today when Premier Jelal Bayar visited the Palestine stand at the Smyrna fair — the first holy land exhibit at the fair — and expressed hope for the success of Jewish upbuilding work.
