Dr. Robert Weltsch, for many years chief editor of the German Zionist organ Juedische Rundschau, passed through here today from Berlin en route to Palestine, where he intends to take up permanent residence. Dr. Weltsch’s sudden departure from Berlin by plane was apparently due to the fact that he is a Czechoslovakian citizen, who would have been interned in the event of war.
