The Baross federation — a group of Hungarian merchants and industrialists of extreme rightist tendencies — today petitioned the Government to ban Jewish concerns from receiving State orders. The organization also requested that Jews be banned from the exporting and importing business and that big Jewish corporations be dissolved and reorganized into small private establishments. The federation’s request coincided with an appeal from the Hungarian landowner’s association for severe measures against combines representing Jewish interests.
