Charging “deliberate discrimination against American citizens who may hold German corporate bonds,” Representative Emanuel Celler of New York today introduced a bill providing for compulsory registration of all assets of German corporations in the United States in which American citizens hold corporate securities. Mr. Celler said that the Nazis defaulted on securities held by Americans while paying regularly on French, Swedish, Norwegian and other securities.

Representative Hamilton Fish of New York introduced a bill prohibiting formation of “private military forces, such as uniformed Nazis, Communists or other alien groups.”
