The negotiations on Jewish emigration will be resumed by George Rublee almost as soon as he gets off the train. Dr. Helmuth Wolhlhat, Economics Ministry official assigned to continue the negotiations, will receive the Intergovernmental Refugee Committee delegation at 10:30 o’clock tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, the Jewish News Page, semi-weekly paper under the control of the Propaganda Ministry, pleaded editorially today for “a final and lasting solution” of the Jewish problem in the form of mass colonization. It stated that a system of infiltration was inadequate since it tended to carry the Jewish problem throughout the inhabited portion of the world.
