The idea of a “Freedom Pavilion”at the New York World’s Fair to exhibit pre-Nazi and German emigre culture, has been abandoned. Dr. Frank Kingdon, chairman of the sponsoring committee, cited lack of time to complete the exhibits, in a letter to Grover Whalen, president of the Fair Corporation.
