Emigration of Jews from Poland will be among the subjects discussed Tuesday between the British Government and Foreign Minister Jozef Beck of Poland, the Sunday Times reports.
“The question of Jewish emigration undoubtedly will be raised by Col. Beck, even though the subject is not arousing the same enthusiasm in London as in Warsaw, the Times said. “Poland would like to find a home in the British Empire for some 50,000 Jews yearly to take the place of the pre-war emigration of Polish Jews to the United States. Beck, however, does not intend to raise colonial claims.” Other points said to be scheduled for discussion include the Danzig problem, a British-Polish defence pact and a loan for Poland.
