One of the world’s smallest minorities groups, the Romansh-speaking Swiss, has taken up the cause of the Jews. The Protestant minister, Rev. Theophile Grin, a Romansh leader, has launched a new movement, known as La Deliverance, to organize Swiss support for establishment of a Jewish State in Palestine. A manifesto urges the Swiss Government to petition Great Britain to fulfill the Balfour Declaration’s promise of facilitating establishment of a Jewish National Home in the Holy Land.

(Romansh is a Rhaeto-Romanic dialect spoken in Grisons canton of Switzerland.)
