The National Council for Jewish Education, which held its annual convention here, elected as its officers for the coming year Dr. Louis Kaplan, director of the Board of Jewish Education of Baltimore, president; Rabbi Samuel M. Blumenfield, dean of the College of Jewish Studies of Chicago, vice-president; Dr. Ben Edidin, executive director of the Central Jewish Institute of New York, secretary, and Nathan Brilliant, educational director of the Euclid Avenue Temple of Cleveland, treasurer.
