A second list of Jewish firms scheduled for “aryanization” under the Italian anti-Semitic legislation was made public here today.

The list includes four industrial enterprises with a personnel of 2,125 employee. At the end of two months, commissars will be appointed for a six-month term during with the firms will be turned over to “Aryan” interests.

The owners of the enterprises being “Aryanized” have a right to protest if they feel that they are being underpaid. The protest will be acted upon by three judges one chosen by the Jew, one by the prospective purchaser and one by the Finance Minister. The protest may be annulled, however, if the Jew is unable to find a judge to argue his case.

It is now expected that small Jewish businesses, hither not affected by the racial legislation, will be the next to suffer through refusal of the authorities to grant them new licenses.
